Our take
Hometown Quotes fits personal lines agents who want real-time leads with a choice of shared or exclusive and filters that don't raise the price. Agents with Allstate, Nationwide, COUNTRY Financial, State Farm or Farmers can also use carrier programs with custom pricing and up to $250 in bonus credits.
Most agents should start with one or two lines in a tight territory and compare cost per sale on shared and exclusive leads before widening the territory.
Pricing is quoted by line, territory and risk class, so request a quote for your own mix when you sign up.

Exclusive and weekend exclusive
Every line offers exclusive leads. Weekend exclusive leads are available too.
Live transfers
Live transfers connect auto, home and life shoppers to you based on your filters, hours and lines. Ask for the price per call and what makes a call billable before you buy.
Carrier programs
Allstate, Nationwide, COUNTRY Financial, State Farm and Farmers agents can buy through carrier programs with custom pricing and up to $250 in bonus credits. Some programs are limited by line and state. The State Farm program, for example, excludes California, Florida and South Carolina for auto, home and renters leads, and several more states for auto.
Getting started
- Sign up and choose your lines, filters, delivery hours and territory.
- Fund a prepaid deposit. The leads you receive are paid out of it.
- A shopper asks for a quote and within seconds the lead is in your Hometown Quotes portal. It can also be sent by email or text, or straight into your CRM, rater or dialer.
- When the balance falls to $50 your card gets charged again automatically.
Pricing
There is no rate card, because Hometown Quotes doesn't publish prices. A lead is priced by its line and risk class, and the filters cost nothing. Leads are paid for from your deposit and your card is charged again once the balance hits $50, with no minimum order or setup fee listed.
Pricing is by quote
Hometown Quotes doesn't publish a price we can put into a calculator, so your cost comes from Hometown Quotes's quote.
What sets the price
- Priced by product type and risk class
- You pay for leads and calls
- Filters are free

Sample leads and filters
You can look at sample leads for auto, home, life and renters. All of them carry the shopper's name, address, phones and email.
Auto leads

The auto lead covers current insurance (carrier, continuous coverage, renewal date and time with the company), the bodily injury and property damage limits and deductibles wanted, homeownership, credit and time at the address. Each driver comes with license status, date of birth, age first licensed, marital status, occupation and education, plus major and minor violations from the last three years. Each vehicle lists annual and daily mileage, VIN, use and ownership.
Home leads

The home lead adds birthdate, credit and time at the address, the property (year built, square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, construction, foundation, roof, stories and heat source), safety features, pools and dogs, current insurer and premium, the coverage, liability and deductible wanted, and past claims.
Life leads

On a life lead you see what coverage the shopper has now and what type and amount they want. The health section covers gender, date of birth, height and weight, whether they smoke, occupation, recent hospital stays, DUI history, residency and major medical conditions.
Renters leads

A renters lead is laid out like the home lead but for a rental unit. It lists the coverage, liability and deductible the shopper wants and who insures them now.
Filters
You choose your delivery hours and the geographic areas you want, along with lines and risk class. Filters are free on every line.
Lead quality checks
Hometown Quotes says its leads are TCPA compliant, checked by independent verification services and screened for recycled leads, with phone and email checks. Leads that come in from partner sellers must carry a Jornaya LeadiD and a TrustedForm certificate.
Hometown Quotes' privacy policy treats a shopper's submitted phone number as consent for Hometown Quotes and its agents to call, even when the number appears on a Do Not Call list.
Delivery and integrations
Leads land in your Hometown Quotes portal within seconds and can also arrive by email or text or post into your own system. Hometown Quotes integrates with 24 named systems: Agency IQ, Agency MVP, AgencyZoom, APEX, Applied Rater, Blitz, Bonzo, Dial Your Leads, EZLynx, HawkSoft, Lead Management Lab, Lead Nurture, LightSpeed, Little Giant Marketing, OneLink, PhoneBurner, QuoteBurst, QuoteRUSH, ReadyMode, Ricochet360, Ringy, RoboAgent, TurboRater and Velocify.
Lead returns
Hometown Quotes credits your account, rather than refunding cash, when the phone is disconnected and the email doesn't work, the contact isn't a consumer, the lead was recycled, the person never asked for a quote, the lead duplicates another Hometown Quotes lead from the last 30 days or the shopper was offered an incentive.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Hometown Quotes quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Hometown Quotes has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
