Best life insurance lead companies

Updated

Here are the strongest life leads options we found. The order comes from objective trust signals (disclosure, identity, published pricing and years in business) and no scores are shown. Which one is right comes down to your own needs.

Of the 15 companies below, six publish what they charge for life leads and nine do not. The published per-lead prices run from $4 at NextGen Leads up to $225 at Financialize, and on sharing, six sell only exclusive, one sells only shared and five sell both.

The order is our default trust order: disclosure, identity, pricing and years in business. Each price is what the company publishes for life leads, with its date.

How we chose

We include a company when at least one offer lists life as a line. That gave us 27 offers from 15 companies, priced September 2026 to October 2026. Looking at upfront money, six ask for a deposit and five ask for none.

Aged leads are a separate kind of product, so the three aged offers from three companies are kept out of the counts above. Results with life leads vary with your market and your follow-up habits. Spend a little with two or three, treat their leads identically and compare what each policy costs you.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose a company for life leads?

Start with two or three companies that sell life leads, buy a few leads from each and follow up on all of them identically. Only eight of the 15 publish a return window, and those run from 3 to 10 days, so get the rest in writing before you spend much.

When do exclusive life leads justify what they cost?

Whether it pays off hinges on how often they close. Exclusive starts at $4 a lead (NextGen Leads) and shared at $8 (SmartFinancial), so the gap only pays off if the exclusive ones close that much more often.

What do life leads cost?

Going by the prices companies publish: $4 to $225 per lead across four companies, $35 per call and $1,350 to $2,300 per month across one company. Nine of the 15 leave the price off.

Why are aged leads listed separately?

Aged leads are older contacts resold after the first buyers, so they behave like a marketing list more than a fresh lead. All three that sell them also sell fresh leads on this line. The lowest aged price published for life leads is $1 to $21 per lead.

How we researched this. We based this page on each company's published pricing where available, terms and product pages, reviewed in October 2026, together with our team's experience working with insurance agents and agency owners since 2008.
