ReadyMode review for insurance agents: pricing, dialing and compliance

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

ReadyMode is a predictive dialer with its own CRM, built for call teams that dial lead lists all day. It paces calls to keep agents talking, takes inbound calls and records every call.

It fits health, Medicare and life call centers. Starter covers teams of up to four, and iQ adds spam label tools and integrations for five or more.

Our take

ReadyMode fits call centers that need predictive speed, with the dialer and lead records in one place. Teams of five or more usually want iQ, which adds spam label monitoring, best-number picking and the CRM connections.

Predictive dialing means some answered calls drop when no agent is free. ReadyMode paces toward a 2.5% abandon rate by default, but the contract leaves the legal limit to you.

The biggest catch for Medicare work is storage. Recordings delete after 30 days, so you need your own archive.

Pros

  • All four dialing modes, including predictive, on every plan
  • Default pacing aims for a 2.5% abandon rate
  • iQ tracks number status at AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon and picks the best number
  • State rules can block a state or limit its calling window
  • One license can be shared by agents on different shifts
  • Every call is recorded by default

Cons

  • Recordings delete after 30 days
  • No built-in texting
  • Numbers can't be ported in
  • CRM connections need iQ
  • Do Not Call scrubbing and voicemail drops cost extra at unpublished rates

Uses the license prices in the table. Inbound minutes, voicemail drops, Do Not Call scrubbing, taxes and carrier fees are extra.

Good to know before you buy

  • A license covers one person at a time, so shift teams can share licenses.
  • Two people on one login at the same time can be billed $250 each time.
  • Outbound minutes fall under a fair use policy with no published limit.
  • Setup and number activation fees are waived.
  • You need a US or Canadian registered business and an EIN to buy online.

Abandoned calls
The default plan adjusts pacing to stay near a 2.5% abandon rate. An aggressive setting dials three calls per free agent

You. The terms make the agency responsible for keeping dropped calls within the law
Voicemail drop
On iQ, up to three recorded messages after machine detection or by call result. Added on request and needs consent
Bad numbers
Lead files with more than 5% disconnected numbers can be kept out of dialing

Inbound calls and transfers

ReadyMode takes inbound calls into the same system the dialer uses. An agent can catch callbacks from leads they called, and live transfers carry the lead profile with them.

Phone numbers and spam labels

Who supplies numbers
ReadyMode, from outside carriers, ordered by area code. Numbers are rested 45 to 120 days before you get them
Bring your own number
No. Porting numbers in isn't offered
Using them elsewhere
Not allowed. Showing a ReadyMode number as caller ID on another platform breaks the terms
Taking numbers with you
You can port them out and pay the porting fees
Local presence
Proximity Matching picks the caller ID closest to the area code, city or state you call
Number rotation
Rotates numbers in an area on dialer calls. iQ caps each number at 75 to 200 calls a day
Call signing (STIR/SHAKEN)
A rating on ReadyMode numbers
Spam label monitoring
iQ shows each number's status at AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, with screenshots of the caller ID
Fixing spam labels
iQ registers numbers with carriers. You can also replace or reset numbers
Branded caller ID
First Orion branded calling at a discount, priced by sales

Do Not Call, calling hours and consent

National Do Not Call list
You keep your own subscription. The paid Risk Management app scrubs at upload and can check again before each predictive dial
Extra checks
The same app flags cell phones and known lawsuit filers
State rules
Block a state outright or limit it to a daily window. Buying state lists is your job
Your own do-not-call list
Permanent and temporary entries with CSV import. Manual dials to a listed number still go through, with a warning
Calling hours
7 AM to 9:15 PM in the called region's time zone by default. That is wider than the federal 8 AM to 9 PM window, so change it before dialing. Holiday and emergency rules are built in
Consent date
A consent date in the lead file can stop dialing after a set number of days
Opt-outs
Agents add a lead to the do-not-call list from the call result
Compliance partners
Contact Center Compliance, The Blacklist Alliance, DNC.com and TrustedForm

Change the default calling hours ReadyMode's default window starts at 7 AM and ends at 9:15 PM. Federal rules allow telemarketing calls only from 8 AM to 9 PM in the called person's time zone, so agents must narrow the window before the first campaign.

Your responsibility under the terms ReadyMode's contract puts consent, list scrubbing, dropped-call limits and opt-outs on the agency. The tools help, but the agency answers for them.

Texting and registration

Texting
Not built in. You connect ClickSend or Volt
Carrier registration
Handled by the texting service you pick, which also bills the messages

Call recording and Medicare

Recording
Every call is recorded by default. Only ReadyMode's compliance team can change that
Recording notice
You give the notice and get consent where state law requires
How long it's kept
30 days, then deleted
Export
Play or download from Call Logs. Gong can receive recordings
After you cancel
Access ends right away, and data can be deleted 24 hours later

Medicare agencies Recordings disappear after 30 days, but CMS's rule for the 2027 plan year keeps Medicare sales calls six years. Set up a routine to download every recording to your own storage within the month.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan ReadyMode quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where ReadyMode has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
