Best home insurance lead companies

Updated

These are the strongest options for home leads we found, ranked by objective trust signals: how much a company discloses, who stands behind it, whether it publishes prices and how many years it has operated. No scores are shown, and your own needs decide which one suits you.

12 companies made the list for home leads, and six of them show a price on their own pages. Prices per lead go from $7.50 (QuoteWizard) to $30 (SmartFinancial). On sharing, three sell only exclusive and six sell both.

This follows our default trust order, which weighs disclosure, identity, pricing and years in business. Prices are what each company publishes for home leads, dated as shown.

How we chose

A company qualifies when one of its offers lists home among the lines it sells. That gave us 26 offers from 12 companies, priced September 2026 to October 2026. On deposits, six ask for a deposit and three ask for none.

Aged leads are a separate kind of product, so the three aged offers from three companies are kept out of the counts above. Which of these suits you for home leads turns on your market, your follow-up style and your budget. Put a modest amount into two or three and see which brings the lowest cost per policy sold.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose a company for home leads?

Shortlist a few and trial each with a modest purchase of home leads, following up on every lead identically before you commit more money. Eight of the 12 publish a window for reporting bad leads, between 3 and 30 days, so ask the others for theirs in writing.

When do exclusive home leads justify what they cost?

Sometimes, when they close more often. The cheapest exclusive price per lead here is $8 at SmartFinancial, against $7.50 at QuoteWizard for shared. Judge by what each sale costs you.

What do home leads cost?

Published prices here are $7.50 to $30 per lead across four companies, $1,350 to $13,000 per month across two companies and $18 to $70 per call across one company. Six of the 12 publish no price for it.

Why are aged leads listed separately?

Aged home leads are a separate kind of product. The shoppers were sold to earlier buyers first and the low price reflects low contact rates.

All three that sell them also sell fresh leads on this line. The lowest aged price published for home leads is $0.75 to $16 per lead.
