These terms apply to your use of insuranceagencytools.com (the “site”), operated by InsuranceAgencyTools.com (“InsuranceAgencyTools”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What the site is
The site publishes research and comparisons of products and services sold to insurance agents and agencies. It is general information to help you research your options. It is not legal, compliance, tax, financial or insurance advice, and it is not an offer or endorsement of any vendor.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep vendor information accurate and show when each price was confirmed. Vendors change their prices, plans and terms, and we can’t guarantee that every detail is complete or current when you read it. Confirm prices, contract terms and compliance features directly with the vendor before you buy or sign anything. Your agreement with a vendor is between you and that vendor.
How we make money
Some links to vendors are affiliate or referral links. If you buy through one, the vendor may pay us a commission. This costs you nothing extra. Affiliate links never change the order vendors appear in, what we write about them or which vendors we list. The order is based on the trust factors explained in our editorial policy.
Calculators
Calculators show estimates based on the numbers you enter and the formulas shown on the page. Results depend on your inputs and are not a promise of any cost, sale or return.
Corrections and listing claims
When you submit a correction or a listing claim, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are allowed to share it. If you claim a listing, you confirm that you own or are authorized to represent that business. You give us permission to use what you send to review and update our pages. We decide what to publish, and every change is checked against the vendor’s published sources. Claiming a listing does not give you control over our editorial content.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or republish substantial parts of the site, or use automated tools to harvest its content, without our written permission
- submit false, misleading or spam corrections or claims, or impersonate a business or person
- interfere with the site’s security or operation
- use the site in a way that breaks the law
Quoting short excerpts with a link back to the page you quote is fine.
Intellectual property
The site’s text, data compilations, design, calculators and logo belong to InsuranceAgencyTools.com or its licensors. Vendor names, logos and screenshots belong to their owners and appear on the site to identify and describe their products. If you own a logo or image on the site and want it changed or removed, write to us.
Links to other sites
The site links to vendor websites and other sites we don’t control. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, InsuranceAgencyTools.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any vendor. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
