The order is our default trust order: disclosure, identity, pricing and years in business. Each price is what the company publishes for auto leads, with its date.

How we chose

A company qualifies when one of its offers lists auto among the lines it sells. That gave us 30 offers from 13 companies, priced September 2026 to October 2026. Looking at upfront money, six ask for a deposit and three ask for none.

Three offers from three companies sell aged leads. They are left out of the counts and prices here.

Results with auto leads vary with your market and your follow-up habits. Spend a little with two or three, treat their leads identically and compare what each policy costs you.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose a company for auto leads?

Shortlist a few and trial each with a modest purchase of auto leads, following up on every lead identically before you commit more money. Only eight of the 13 publish a return window, and those run from 3 to 30 days, so get the rest in writing before you spend much.

When do exclusive auto leads justify what they cost?

Whether it pays off hinges on how often they close. Exclusive starts at $8 a lead (SmartFinancial) and shared at $3 (QuoteWizard), so the gap only pays off if the exclusive ones close that much more often.

What do auto leads cost?

Going by the prices companies publish: $3 to $30 per lead across four companies, $1,350 to $13,000 per month across two companies and $25 to $45 per call across one company. Seven of the 13 leave the price off.

Why are aged leads listed separately?

Aged leads are older contacts resold after the first buyers, so they behave like a marketing list more than a fresh lead. All three that sell them also sell fresh leads on this line. The lowest aged price published for auto leads is $0.75 to $16 per lead.

How we researched this. We based this page on each company's published pricing where available, terms and product pages, reviewed in October 2026, together with our team's experience working with insurance agents and agency owners since 2008.
