How Much Does an Insurance Agency Management System Cost?

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

Three of the 18 agency management systems here put prices in dollars on their sites. 14 price by quote only and one publishes add-on prices only.

Two vendors publish a price per person per month, from $70.83 to $99. Every price is dated October 2026.

Pricing models

Each row takes the lowest published price a vendor has in that unit. Add-ons, setup fees, usage rates and prices for one narrow group of buyers are not counted, and a price per person is never mixed in with a flat plan.

Of the three that price in dollars, two charge only for each person who uses it (HawkSoft and NextAgency), so the bill grows as you add people. One charges only a flat price for the whole account (Momentum AMP).

Setup and one-time fees

11 of the 18 list a setup, onboarding or other one-time fee, and two of those give a price. The rest describe a setup or conversion process but do not say whether it costs extra, so ask. Count any one-time fee in your first-year budget.

  • HawkSoft. Setup and conversion: Conversion is a flat fee per database.
  • AgencyPro. Combining datasets (one-time): Agency Software combines separate datasets for a fee.
  • NextAgency. API activation and usage: $50 one-time activation.
  • Agency Matrix. Professional services (one-time setup): A one-time professional services fee, due when you sign.
  • AMS360. Professional services (one-time setup): Conversion and implementation are quoted in a Statement of Work.
  • QQCatalyst. Data conversion (one-time): Quoted in your order or a statement of work.
  • Sagitta. Setup and conversion (one-time): Priced in a statement of work from Vertafore Professional Services.
  • Insly. Implementation (one-time setup): A fixed fee or pay as you go, quoted for each project.
  • BenefitPoint. Setup and conversion (one-time): Priced in a statement of work from Vertafore Professional Services.
  • Eclipse. Data transfer (one-time): Typically starts at about $750.
  • Xanatek. Startup fee (one-time setup): Quoted for each agency. Data conversion (one-time): Quoted for each agency, with 15% off for PIA members.

Contract terms

The contract decides what you pay over time and what it costs to leave. Read the term, the renewal rule and the notice period before you sign.

Two of the 18 offer month-to-month terms (NextAgency and Momentum AMP). Xanatek, Partner Platform, Newton by Agency Systems, Amplo (formerly Veruna) and Nexsure publish no contract terms, so they are not listed.

The default order goes by trust factors. It is not our pick of the best.

Three of the 18 agency management systems on this page publish prices in dollars. The most common unit is per person per month, used by two, with starting prices from $70.83 to $99. 14 price by quote only.

Which agency management systems charge per user?

HawkSoft and NextAgency publish a price per user, seat or license.

Are add-ons included in these prices?

No. Every price here leaves add-ons out. Each vendor profile lists them.

Why do so few agency management systems publish prices?

15 of the 18 set the price in a quote or an agreement, so a number on a website is the exception here. Whichever one you call, ask for the full first-year cost in writing and make sure the setup fees and the contract term are in it.

Where do these figures come from?

They come from the vendors' own pages and are as of the month shown. If a vendor did not publish something we left it out.

How we researched this. We based this page on each vendor's published pricing where available, terms and product pages, reviewed in October 2026, together with our team's experience working with insurance agents and agency owners since 2008.
