AgencyPro review: pricing, downloads and accounting
AgencyPro is a Windows agency management system for independent and captive P&C agencies. It holds clients, policies, ACORD forms and carrier downloads, and it runs a full general ledger from policy entry.
It fits agencies that bill some policies themselves and want their books in one place. Agency Software quotes it after a demo, and it runs on your own server or a hosted desktop.

Our take
AgencyPro suits a P&C agency that bills some policies itself and wants the general ledger to come straight from policy entry, with no QuickBooks on the side. Carrier payables, producer commissions and trust account transfers all live in one system.
The trade-off is how it runs. It is a Windows program on your own server, so you either keep that server healthy or pay EME Cloud to host it, and downloads for commercial lines and direct bill statements need the Download Plus module.
Pros
- Full general ledger, cash or accrual, fed by policy entry
- Agency bill, direct bill and trust account transfers
- Over 850 ACORD forms with prefill and batch certificates
- WebView logs staff in to over 130 carrier websites
- Data stays on your own server if you run it yourself
Cons
- No published software prices
- Runs on your Windows server unless you pay for hosting
- No mobile app, client portal or public API
- Commercial and statement downloads need Download Plus
- Downloads run from one workstation

Clients and policies

Each client holds family members, policies, claims, vehicles, drivers, equipment, property, coverage limits, certificate holders, notes and documents. Downloaded renewals show the percent change from last term's premium.
- Policies

- Notes
- Stamped with the time and rep. They can be added to but never edited
- Change log
- TFile logs changes to clients, policies, forms, notes, images and ticklers
- Several offices
- Separate datasets, such as a second agency. Branch offices need their own license

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan AgencyPro quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where AgencyPro has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
