Momentum AMP review: pricing, downloads and accounting

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

Momentum AMP, formerly NowCerts, is an agency management platform with a built-in CRM. Momentum is the brand, and Momentum AMS is the agency management system inside the platform that holds clients, policies, carrier downloads and commissions. The Automation Center runs campaigns from the same records.

The AMS starts at $119 a month for one user, with a 30-day free trial.

Our take

Momentum AMP fits independent agencies that want one system for policies, carrier downloads, commissions and sales follow-up. Its Automation Center isn't a separate CRM. It works on the policies and x-dates (the dates prospects' current policies expire) already in the AMS, so campaigns run from live data.

Switching from another AMS is the big job. Book the paid data move early.

Agencies that already like their AMS can pair a CRM with it instead.

Pros

  • Published prices and a 30-day free trial
  • Carrier downloads through IVANS, TEAM-UP and direct carriers
  • Campaigns run from the policy data in the AMS
  • Commission reconciliation with producer statements
  • Client portal for certificates and ID cards

Cons

  • A card is needed for the trial, which has no IVANS downloads
  • Data migration is a paid, non-refundable service
  • API and Zapier need an API seat below Business

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Momentum AMP quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Momentum AMP has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
