Amplo (formerly Veruna) review: pricing, downloads and accounting
Amplo, called Veruna until September 2025, is an agency management system and CRM installed in Salesforce. It keeps one client record from first contact through placement, service, claims, renewal and commissions.
It fits independent agencies and brokers that want their AMS on Salesforce, including multi-office agencies. Amplo quotes on request.

Our take
Amplo suits an agency that already runs on Salesforce and wants its AMS and CRM in the same place, built around the client instead of the policy. Producers see pipeline, coverage gaps and service history in one record.
It is a product in transition. Amplo says it is rebuilding the product's foundation, so ask for the product roadmap in the demo. Ask too whether it includes a general ledger, the agency's main set of books.

Clients and policies

Amplo builds its record around the client instead of the policy. One record holds the client's people and businesses with their assets and risks, plus coverage and carrier history, prospects, submissions, quotes, documents, claims and renewals.
- Policy transactions
- Each one links to premium, commission and producer credit
- Commercial accounts
- Held in the same client record
- Acquired books
- Books from an acquisition or a departing producer come into the same record
Carrier downloads
- Download routes
- Amplo says downloads, raters and carrier portals feed into the client record. IVANS, the network most carriers use to send downloads, lists Veruna as a partner
- Carrier list
- None published
Certificates, ACORD forms and claims
- Certificates
- Handled as service requests, with the request, answer and outcome kept together
- Policy changes
- Endorsements and audits run the same way, on the account
- Claims
- Reported from the account and kept with the policy history
- Renewals
- Start from the same client record
Rating and quoting
- Placement
- Submissions, markets, carrier responses, quotes and binding tracked in the record
- Raters that connect
- Amplo names none on its own pages. Compare raters that connect to other systems

- Mismatches sent to an exception list
- Producer credit and book roles kept with their history
- Contingent commission tracking against carrier targets

Amplo tracks money held in trust for carriers, states and clients until it is paid out.
- General ledger
- Ask in the demo whether it includes one or you need separate accounting software

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Amplo (formerly Veruna) quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Amplo (formerly Veruna) has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
