NextGen Leads review: leads, pricing and terms

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 1, 2026

NextGen Leads sells real-time health, Medicare supplement, turning 65 and life leads and live transfers from its own FirstQuote websites, ads and San Diego call center. You set your own bid in its marketplace.

Its second-price auction means the winning buyer pays a cent more than the next highest bid rather than their full bid, and exclusive health and life leads start at $4.

Our take

NextGen Leads fits health, Medicare supplement and life agents who want to control their own bids and budgets, and agencies that want one account with sub-accounts for several producers. Live transfers come from its own call center after prequalification.

Most agents should start with exclusive data leads in one line and a few states, bid near the starting price and raise the bid only where they need more volume.

Give each campaign its own budget so a winning bid in one line doesn't draw down the balance you planned for another.

Pros

  • Second-price auction, so you often pay less than your bid
  • Published starting prices for every line
  • Shared and exclusive data leads plus live transfers
  • Master account with sub-accounts, permissions and shared funds
  • Pause campaigns as often and as long as you like

Cons

  • Prepaid balance by credit card
  • Returns come back as account credit
  • Fees already paid aren't refunded

Live transfers

Health, Medicare supplement and life shoppers are prequalified by NextGen's San Diego call center and transferred to you live. A call is billed once it connects and passes the billable duration.

Getting started

  1. Create a free account and fund a prepaid balance by credit card. You can turn on automatic funding.
  2. Set up a campaign for each line with your states, delivery days and hours, filters, bids and budget.
  3. Choose email, your dialer or your CRM for delivery. Setup usually takes under an hour.
  4. Add sub-accounts for other producers, with their own permissions and templates, drawing on shared funds if you want.

Pricing

NextGen Leads sells through a second-price auction. You set a maximum bid, and if you win, you pay one cent more than the next highest bid. Starting prices are published for each line and lead type, and you pay from a prepaid balance.

Filters

Campaigns can filter by state, delivery days and hours, age, income, medical conditions, coverage amount and tobacco use, with a budget for each campaign.

Lead quality checks

NextGen Leads generates shoppers through its own websites and in-house ad team, and its San Diego call center prequalifies live transfers. Data leads carry a Jornaya TCPA Guardian token and a TrustedForm certificate.

Delivery and integrations

Leads go to your email, dialer or CRM on the days and hours you set, and an account manager helps with setup.

Lead returns

You can request credit within 10 days of delivery for a disconnected number, a shopper under 18, the wrong geography or service, or a duplicate with the same name, phone and email. Data lead returns are reviewed daily up to a percentage cap that varies by line. Live transfer returns are reviewed daily with no cap.

Contract and cancellation details

There's no long-term contract, and you or NextGen Leads can stop at any time. Purchases can't be canceled, and approved returns come back as account credit.

You can't use NextGen's leads to market Medicare Advantage or Part D plans. Delaware law and individual arbitration apply to disputes.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan NextGen Leads quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where NextGen Leads has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
