ClientCircle review for insurance agents: pricing, texting and compliance
ClientCircle, formerly Rocket Referrals, is an insurance CRM for marketing and client service. It texts and emails clients for renewals, reviews, referrals and cross-sells.
It has no dialer. Calls stay on your phone system, and texting is a per-user add-on.

Our take
ClientCircle belongs on a dialer shortlist only if texting clients is the goal. It sends renewal, review and cross-sell texts from data your agency system feeds in.
It splits marketing and informational opt-outs by channel, so a client can stop promotions and still get service texts.
It can't send one-time mass texts, and it never places calls.
Pros
- Automated renewal, review and cross-sell texts
- Loads clients from AMS360, Epic and EZLynx
- Opt-outs by message type and channel
- Secure links for files up to 100 MB
- Calls to texting numbers forward to your line
Cons
- No calling or dialer
- No one-time mass texts
- Plans are quote only
- Leaving early can cost remaining fees

| Campaign | $1.50 to $10 a month |
| Carrier charge per text | $0.005 to $0.01 |
Good to know before you buy
- Stopping use doesn't cancel. The purchase agreement needs formal notice.
- Leaving early can cost a share of remaining fees plus repaid discounts.
- Unused card and letter credits expire without refund.
Inbound calls and transfers
ClientCircle doesn't handle calls. A call to a texting number forwards to your business line, and web chat lands in its own inbox.
Phone numbers and spam labels
- Who supplies numbers
- ClientCircle issues local or toll-free texting numbers
- Bring your own number
- Connect an existing RingCentral number, or port one with a recent bill
- Calls to the texting number
- Forwarded to your business line
Do Not Call, calling hours and consent
- National Do Not Call list
- No scrub. The terms put TCPA consent on you
- Your own do-not-call list
- A do-not-send list you attach to campaigns. HawkSoft's do-not-market flag can feed it
- Consent records
- Opt-in type set per texting number, with opt-in tools on each contact
- Opt-outs
- Turn off marketing, informational, text, email or mail per contact
Marketing texts need consent ClientCircle separates marketing from informational messages. Make sure each client's consent matches the type of text you send.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan ClientCircle quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where ClientCircle has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
