Ooma Office review for insurance agents: pricing, dialing and compliance
Ooma Office is a business phone system with a virtual receptionist, texting and a simple list dialer. It is sold month to month with no contract.
Agencies that dial lists or use AgencyZoom need Pro Plus. Offices that only answer calls can stay on Essentials or Pro.

Our take
Ooma is a phone system first. Pro Plus adds a dialer that calls one number at a time, which fits a producer working a renewal list more than a lead floor.
The AgencyZoom link is the reason many agencies look. It pops the client record with policy dates and logs calls and texts back.
It has no compliance tools. Lists must be scrubbed first, and recordings last only 90 days.
Pros
- AgencyZoom screen pops with policy dates
- Month to month with no contract
- Low per-user prices
- Virtual receptionist on every plan
- Free number porting in
Cons
- No Do Not Call scrub or calling-hour limits
- Recordings last 90 days
- Text allowance is per account, not per user
- No listen-in or whisper coaching
- Leaving with your numbers takes 30 days' notice

CMS's rule for the 2027 plan year asks for six years of Medicare audio, far more than Ooma's 90 days. Medicare agencies need a regular download routine.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Ooma Office quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Ooma Office has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
