How Much Does an Insurance Virtual Assistant Cost?

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

Five of the 15 virtual assistant companies here put prices in dollars on their sites. 10 price by quote only. Among the three that price per assistant per month, starting prices run from $1,100 to $2,500 and the median is $2,349.

Prices were checked on vendor sites in October 2026. Agency VA's were last seen on October 4, because its site was down when we rechecked, and they still count in the medians. The fees table below has at least one fee or pricing term in words for 10 of the 15.

Pricing models

Each row takes the lowest published price a vendor has in that unit. Add-ons, setup fees, usage rates and prices for one narrow group of buyers are not counted.

Three charge a monthly price for each full-time assistant (InsBOSS, Agency VA and Elevate Teams).

Published fees and pricing terms

Plenty of virtual assistant companies skip the price list and describe what they charge in words. The table shows what each one puts down. Pricing turns up for five of 15, setup or placement fee for seven and hiring the assistant directly for one.

Vendors appear in our default order, which follows trust factors and says nothing about quality.

Why rates differ

Prices vary within a vendor for different reasons.

  • Elevate Teams: the plan (Core or Elevated) and whether you pay month to month or on a yearly plan.
  • Agency Aid: the tier (Trained, Experienced or Bilingual).
  • InsBOSS: the service, and Flex (you supervise) versus Premium (InsBOSS manages).

Contract terms

The contract decides what you pay over time and what it costs to leave. Read the term, the renewal rule and the notice period before you sign. Agency VA, Staff Boom, Patra, Selectsys, ReSource Pro, Xceedance and Agency Aid publish no contract terms, so they are not listed.

The default order goes by trust factors. It is not our pick of the best.
