Advisor Websites review for insurance agencies: website pricing, ownership and quote forms

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 6, 2026

Advisor Websites builds and hosts websites for financial advisors on its own Force platform, with compliance review built in. Insurance agents and brokers can buy it too.

It fits agents who also sell investments and answer to a broker-dealer. Foundations is $499 to set up and $99 a month, and Grow is $2,499 plus $199 a month, both on an annual term.

Our take

Advisor Websites is a template platform built for the wealth business. Its strength is compliance: broker-dealer review is built into the workflow, and every published page version is archived as a PDF.

That makes it a fit for an agent who also holds securities licenses or sells annuities through a broker-dealer. A P&C agency will miss quote forms, rater embeds, AMS links and written insurance pages.

The limit to weigh is lock-in. The Force platform can't move to another host, so leaving means building a new site with your own content.

Pros

  • Broker-dealer compliance review built in
  • PDF archive of every published page version
  • Forms create contacts in Redtail
  • You buy and keep your own domain
  • Grow answers support requests in 4 to 6 hours
  • Low setup fee on Foundations

Cons

  • Annual term with 30 days notice to end it
  • No refunds after the trial
  • No insurance AMS, rater or quote form connections
  • Foundations caps you at 20 pages with no content library
  • Site can't move to another host
  • Built mainly for financial advisors, not agencies

Build and launch

  1. Pick a plan and a design

Choose Foundations or Grow and one of the starting designs.

  2. Work with your onboarding specialist

Send your bio and content, or pay for copywriting. Ask what content can move over from your old site. Some may not carry across as it was.

  3. Review the design

Foundations includes one design revision and Grow includes three.

  4. Get compliance approval

If you're with a broker-dealer, its review adds time on top of the build.

  5. Go live

You or your IT team point the domain to the new site. Advisor Websites may ask for short-term registrar access.

Onboarding takes about 4 to 6 weeks, not counting add-ons or broker-dealer approval.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Advisor Websites quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Advisor Websites has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
