Velocify Dial-IQ review for insurance agents: pricing, dialing and compliance
Velocify Dial-IQ is the dialer inside ICE Mortgage Technology's Velocify suite. It ties power dialing, inbound queues and coaching to Velocify lead records.
It is built and sold for mortgage lenders. Insurance agencies are better served elsewhere unless they already run on Velocify.

Our take
Dial-IQ is a capable sales dialer with Shotgun lead offers, state calling windows and live coaching. It works best with Velocify LeadManager or Salesforce Pulse.
But it is a mortgage product, from the marketing to the Encompass link. No insurance system connects.
Prices are by quote only.
Pros
- Shotgun lead offers for speed to lead
- Calling windows by state and time zone
- Listen, whisper and barge
- Recording rules by area code
Cons
- Built for mortgage, not insurance
- No insurance system connections
- Quote-only pricing
- No predictive dialing

- Drag-and-drop call flows and Shotgun by phone or screen
- Queues
- Hold music and callback when agents are busy
- Phone menu
- Built with a call flow builder
- Live transfers
- No-hold, warm and cold transfers
Phone numbers and spam labels
- Who supplies numbers
- Velocify, local and toll-free
- Local presence
- Shows a local caller ID
- Call signing (STIR/SHAKEN)
- Registered in the app
- Branded caller ID
- Caller name (CNAM) registration in the app
Do Not Call, calling hours and consent
- National Do Not Call list

Mortgage rules, not insurance ones Velocify's compliance settings are built around mortgage lead handling. An insurance agency would need to check its state and Medicare rules against them.
Texting and registration
- Plans with texting
- Automated texts and email in the Velocify platform
Call recording and Medicare
- Recording
- For training, quality and compliance
- Recording notice
- Rules by area code to follow state recording laws
- Transcripts
- AI transcripts of calls
CMS's rule for the 2027 plan year keeps Medicare sales calls six years. ICE doesn't market Dial-IQ to Medicare agencies, so check storage terms with ICE before relying on it.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Velocify Dial-IQ quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Velocify Dial-IQ has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
