Products and getting started
QuoteWizard
- Fill out the join form on the agent site and choose your lines.
- Pick packages and filters with a sales rep, along with your territory and daily or weekly caps.
- Set the amount charged to your card. The card is charged again once your balance falls under what a single lead costs. You can set a cash cap to stop automatic charges.
- Leads arrive in the QuoteWizard dashboard and by email, and can post into your CRM, rater or dialer.
- Pause when you need to. Standard accounts get 45 vacation days a year, and higher-volume accounts get more.
EverQuote
- Sign up for EverQuote Pro. Captive agents can buy for one carrier and independent agents for one agency.
- Choose your lead types, ZIP codes, days and hours and a daily cap.
- Fund a prepaid balance by card. For data leads your card is charged the amount you chose once the balance falls to $25. For live transfers the threshold is $100.
- Leads arrive in EverQuote Pro and by email, or post into your lead system. Calls ring the number you choose.
- Try to reach each lead within three hours, which the terms ask of every agent.
Price and cost to start
QuoteWizard posts starting prices, such as $7.88 for a premium auto lead, though each filter you add raises what you pay. EverQuote shows no prices and adjusts them live by product, risk and subsidy. Funding differs too, since QuoteWizard bills pay as you go with an optional cash cap and EverQuote draws from a prepaid balance that your card tops up automatically.

Shared or exclusive
Shared auto leads average about 1.7 buyers at both QuoteWizard and EverQuote, but QuoteWizard's ceiling is four agents against EverQuote's three, and QuoteWizard publishes no one-per-carrier rule like EverQuote's. QuoteWizard sells exclusive leads in every line except Medicare, while EverQuote's exclusive data leads are auto only. Each company sends a live transfer to just one agent.
Every offer: QuoteWizard and EverQuote.
Lead returns
QuoteWizard's return cap is 25% of your leads and EverQuote's is 20% of each month's leads, but QuoteWizard gives you only 10 days to file against EverQuote's 30. EverQuote credits automatically and names bad contact information as a valid reason. QuoteWizard keeps its credit policy private, so ask for it before you fund the account.
Full return terms: QuoteWizard and EverQuote.
Contract and cancellation
You can walk away from either one, since neither QuoteWizard nor EverQuote has a long-term contract. EverQuote spells out how to cancel and returns unused money apart from a matched first deposit, but QuoteWizard doesn't publish its cancellation steps or whether a leftover balance comes back. QuoteWizard lets standard accounts take a break of up to 45 days in a year, and EverQuote lets you pause whenever you like.

Delivery and integrations
Both deliver in real time. QuoteWizard puts leads in a dashboard where you can also set caps and territory, then sends them out by email, by text or straight into your CRM, dialer or rater. EverQuote routes leads through EverQuote Pro by email or to your lead system and sends calls to your number, though it doesn't list its integration partners.

Lead quality checks
QuoteWizard pulls shoppers mostly from search engines to QuoteWizard.com and partner sites, then puts each lead through its own validation and screens calls before they reach you. EverQuote sources from its own sites and a Verified Partner Network and sells real-time leads only. EverQuote spells out express written consent for autodialed calls, while QuoteWizard points to TrustedForm and Jornaya LeadiD but doesn't publish its consent language.
