Contract with
An AmeriLife-affiliated IMO, named after you contact AmeriLife
Organization model
Affiliated IMOs, plus a separate career-agent path

Licensed agents start with AmeriLife's agent inquiry form and agree to be contacted about contracting with an AmeriLife-affiliated insurance marketing organization. Your upline is that affiliated IMO, with AmeriLife Group above it. Layers below the affiliated IMO depend on which organization you are placed with.

AmeriLife also runs a separate career-agent path where agents work as independent contractors with company leads and training. AmeriLife does not describe support for moving from a captive carrier.

How you get paid

The career path includes weekly incentives and sales bonuses without amounts.

Leaving

Each carrier also sets its own waiting rules for moving contracts.

Independent agents get training, onboarding and servicing. Career agents get new-agent and ongoing training with personalized mentorship. LeadStar runs a webinar to prepare for the annual enrollment period (AEP) and biweekly follow-up training during AEP.

Contracting, certifications and E&O

Contracting starts with the licensed-agent inquiry form and a call from an AmeriLife representative. AmeriLife does not state who pays carrier appointment or state fees.

Medicare comp context

The yearly CMS limits (opens in a new tab) are the most a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan can pay you, and the carrier contract decides what you actually get.

Income claims

AmeriLife says independent agents have "earning potential" and career agents get weekly incentives and sales bonuses. It publishes no figures and no typical earnings statement. Recruiting overrides are not published.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan AmeriLife quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where AmeriLife has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
