  1. Create an account or call

Start online or with the contracting team.

  2. Talk through your levels

The first conversation sets your level carrier by carrier from your production history.

  3. Get appointed

Brokers Alliance supplies the paperwork and submits your appointments.

Brokers Alliance runs open contracting. You create an account or call the contracting team and sign with Brokers Alliance, Inc. The chain is agent or agency, then Brokers Alliance, then the carrier.

Agencies and BGAs can bring their own downlines, and it does not contract around them.

For an agent switching from another IMO or BGA, Brokers Alliance says its contracting team identifies carriers that need a release, supplies the forms and submits new appointments through its automated workflow.

How you get paid

Pay path
Carrier pays you directly
Level bumps
Bonus tiers as your production grows

The first conversation uses your production history to set your starting level carrier by carrier. Brokers Alliance says its MyAdvisorGrids tool shows the commission grids before you commit a case.

Higher production unlocks bonus tiers from Brokers Alliance. The thresholds and whether a level can go down are shared during contracting. Brokers Alliance earns carrier commissions and overrides, and its override schedule is not published.

Carrier trip contests and Brokers Alliance vacation rewards depend on contract-year production.

The public pages do not identify whether Brokers Alliance holds each carrier contract directly with the carrier or through another marketing organization. Each level is decided separately for every carrier and every agent. Numeric ranges by line are not published on its public pages.

Leaving

Release policy
Granted on request, with no notice period. Open fraud or unpaid advance debt can hold it
Renewal vesting
Follows each carrier's vesting policy
Downline
A builder keeps the downline

Each carrier has transfer rules of its own, and some need a release while others take a fresh appointment.

You own the business written under your number, and an agency that brings its own downline keeps it.

Client-data ownership and noncompete or nonsolicit terms are not published, so read the producer agreement for both.

Advances, chargebacks and debt

Debt policy
Unpaid advance debt can hold a release until you pay it down

They come from each carrier's grid.

The one public debt term is the release hold for unpaid advance debt.

Lines and carriers

Lines include life, final expense, annuities, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, Part D and Aetna dental and vision. Long-term care and disability income are also available. Property and casualty is not offered.

The August 2026 final-expense shelf includes Corebridge Financial, Foresters Financial, Mutual of Omaha, Transamerica, Royal Neighbors of America and others. Brokers Alliance says its annuity desk has over 30 carriers and its life shelf over 40. Availability varies by state.

Who pays
No platform fee or monthly cost with your contract

Leads are optional. Final-expense agents can join an exclusive lead program tied to the final-expense contract, with prices shared privately. Brokers Alliance gives the price after it approves you.

Annuity producers get first-purchase discounts from suggested lead vendors. Brokers Alliance does not sell Medicare lead lists.

Brokers Alliance says MyAdvisorCloud, MyAdvisorGrids, RetirementBrain and LifeBrain come with no platform fee or monthly cost. The final-expense quoter comes with qualifying contracting.

Training and production

Production minimums
No minimum to get contracted. Higher production earns higher levels and bonus tiers

Agents get online product training, live events, an advanced-markets desk, annuity case design and underwriting advocacy. You can get contracted without any production minimum, and you won't be held to a quota.

Brokers Alliance says production shapes contract levels, and a separate rule for retaining a level has not been published.

Contracting, certifications and E&O

How to contract
Online account or the contracting team. Brokers Alliance submits the appointments

Brokers Alliance supplies the paperwork and submits appointments through an automated workflow. Brokers Alliance says a team member reaches out in one business day or less, and that most Aetna appointments finish in a few business days once the paperwork is in order.

You need an active license. Medicare Advantage and Part D also need AHIP and carrier certifications, and variable annuities need securities registration.

Ownership and channel

Brokers Alliance is independent and family owned with no parent company. It works as a wholesale desk with no carrier ownership stake.

Medicare comp context

Your Medicare Advantage and Part D pay comes from the carrier contract and your upline, up to the yearly ceiling CMS sets (CMS agent and broker compensation (opens in a new tab)).

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Brokers Alliance quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Brokers Alliance has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
