How you get paid
- Sales Assist
- A referral program. You get 50% of placed case commissions at your Crump level, one case at a time
- Referral rights
- You give up rights to Sales Assist referrals and the policies they produce
One program is public. Sales Assist is a referral program: you pass a case to Crump's team, and the referring producer receives 50% of placed case commissions at the producer's existing Crump level, on a single-case basis.
Leaving
Under Sales Assist, the referring producer waives ownership rights for the referral and any resulting policy. Expect to give up rights to Sales Assist cases.

Contracting, certifications and E&O
- Certifications
- Sales Assist needs a license in the state of sale
Transaction Center Contracting lets you request and track carrier appointments online. For Sales Assist, you must hold a license in the state where the sale happens, and licensing and appointment requirements still apply.
Ownership and channel
- Ownership
- Private equity backed, through AmeriLife
AmeriLife Group, LLC has owned Crump since March 3, 2025. AmeriLife is held in the portfolios of Thomas H. Lee Partners and Genstar Capital.
Crump's institutional programs use sales desks that refer clients to Crump's own agents, which Crump says are licensed in all 50 states. Ask how those referrals are kept apart from your own clients.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Crump Life Insurance Services quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Crump Life Insurance Services has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
