LRG review for insurance agents: data, pricing and permitted use

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

LRG, now trading as The Leads Warehouse, sells consumer, homeowner, cell phone and business lists for cold outreach. A rep builds each list to order and sends it by email or a portal.

There is no renewal date. Records cost about $0.01 to $0.10 each by quote.

Our take

LRG suits an agent who wants a rep to build a cheap custom list and doesn't mind working by phone. Do Not Call and cell phone flags come on the file.

Two cautions. Homeowner files blend public records with aged and live transfer data, and LRG publishes no license or refund terms.

Pros

  • Low prices per record
  • Federal Do Not Call flags on the file
  • Cell numbers marked as cell or landline
  • Files usually arrive the next day

Cons

  • No published license or refund terms
  • Homeowner files mix in aged and live transfer data
  • No x-date or policy field
  • Every order needs a quote
  • No sample file online

Data sources and dates

SourceWhat it gives youHow often it updates
Consumer public records, surveys and credit profilesNames, addresses, phones and household detailsAt least every quarter. Cell phones monthly
Business contributors, directories and phone interviewsOwners, executives, industry, revenue and sizeAt least every quarter
Homeowner records plus aged, opt-in and live transfer dataHomeowner name, phone, address and emailMonthly, with a scrub each quarter

What to use instead
Length of residence, home value and new homeowner hookups

Ask what is in a homeowner file. LRG blends public records with aged data, opt-in feeds and live transfer data in its homeowner lists. Aged means older leads sold before and live transfer means call-in leads passed to an agent, so ask which sources your file uses before you call.

Phone, email and Do Not Call

Phone numbers
On consumer, business and homeowner lists
Cell phone flag
Yes. LRG marks numbers as landline or cell
Do Not Call check
Federal Do Not Call and Do Not Mail flags on the file
Email
On consumer, business and homeowner lists. LRG says junk addresses are removed

A phone or email field on a record does not give you consent to call, text or email.

Permitted use

LRG markets its lists for calls, texts, email, mail and ringless voicemail. Texts and ringless voicemail need consent, and LRG's flags don't supply it. It publishes no data license, so the rules on sharing, resale and how long you may keep a list are whatever your invoice says.

Get those terms in writing before you pay.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan LRG quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where LRG has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
