Published fees and pricing terms
The table shows how each agency describes its pricing and how it bills ad spend. A blank cell means the agency publishes nothing on it or prices by quote.
Vendors appear in our default order, which follows trust factors and says nothing about quality.
| Vendor | How it's priced | Ad spend |
|---|---|---|
| Stratosphere | Monthly packages: Agency Website $149 after a $2,000 setup, Marketing Essentials $799 and All-in-One Marketing $999, each for one agent or location. | Paid on top of a management fee starting at $300 or 15% of ad spend, whichever is higher. |
| Agency Marketing Machine | Flat monthly plans: single services from $125 a month, Lean Machine at $275 and Full Marketing Pro from $895. Add-ons are sold alone or with a package. | Not listed |
| Insurance Marketing Partners | One-time setup fee plus a monthly fee: $69 to $322 a month, and $197 to $4,997 to set up, by program. | Facebook ad costs are extra on the Social, Combo, Junior Partner and Senior Partner programs. Partner also runs the daily campaign, so ask whether its price covers the ads. |
| Succession Marketing | Flat monthly fee from $1,980 a month, plus ad spend. | Paid on top of the monthly fee. Succession Marketing says it does not profit from ad spend and that a budget of $3,000 or more a month is a good fit. |
| AgencyEvolved | Not listed | Not listed |
| Socialphin | Flat monthly packages: Pro $79, Elite $129 and Supreme $199 a month. Custom plans are priced on request. | No paid ads in the packages, so there is no ad spend. |
| SEOArmy | Not listed | Paid on top of the fee, straight to Google, Meta or LinkedIn, with no markup. |
| Insurance Marketing Co | Monthly retainers: Foundation $2,500, Growth $3,500 and Full-Funnel $5,500 a month. A new website is $2,500 to $8,000 one time. | Paid on top of the fee, straight to Google, Meta or the platform, with no markup. |
Why rates differ
Prices here differ for reasons beyond the plan you pick.
- Setup fees, from none at Socialphin to $4,997 for Insurance Marketing Partners' largest program
- The number of agents or locations, since each Stratosphere package covers one
- Ad spend paid to Google or Meta, plus any management fee for running the ads
- Quote-only pricing at SEOArmy and AgencyEvolved
Setup and one-time fees
Four of the eight list a setup, onboarding or other one-time fee, each with a price. Socialphin says there is no setup fee. Count any one-time fee in your first-year budget.
- Stratosphere. Agency Website setup: $2,000.
- Insurance Marketing Partners. Social and search program setup: $197 to $497. Partner program setup: $997 to $4,997.
- Agency Marketing Machine. Lean Web setup: $699. Full Marketing Pro website setup: $0 to $1,299.
- Insurance Marketing Co. Website build: $2,500 to $8,000.
Ad spend and management fees
Ad spend is the money paid to Google, Meta or another platform for the ads themselves. A management fee is what the agency charges to run them, either built into the monthly price or added as a flat amount or a percentage of spend.
For a retainer firm, budget the fee plus ad spend. Succession Marketing's starting fee plus the $3,000 monthly ad budget it suggests comes to about $5,000 a month, or about $60,000 a year.
Contract terms
The contract decides what you pay over time and what it costs to leave. Insurance Marketing Co is month to month only after a first term of unstated length.
Three of the eight offer month-to-month terms (Stratosphere, Socialphin and Insurance Marketing Co). Agency Marketing Machine, AgencyEvolved and Succession Marketing publish no contract terms, so they are not listed.
The default order goes by trust factors. It is not our pick of the best.
| Vendor | Minimum term |
|---|---|
| Stratosphere | Marketing packages are month to month, with no long-term contract |
| Insurance Marketing Partners | Six months |
| Socialphin | Month to month |
| SEOArmy | 3 to 6 months on paid engagements |
| Insurance Marketing Co | Month to month after any first term in the signed agreement, with 30 days' written notice |
