LifeBrain review for insurance agents: pricing, carriers and features

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

LifeBrain quotes term, GUL and final expense from a client's monthly budget. It compares classes, term lengths and face amounts in one run and keeps your quote history.

B1 costs $7 a user per month. Agents who submit through a qualified BGA get the full version with applications at no software fee.

Our take

LifeBrain is one of the cheapest paid ways to get multi-carrier life quotes, and the budget quoter suits clients who shop by monthly payment.

Applications need a qualified BGA. On a paid plan alone you quote, then apply elsewhere.

Health screening is light, so pair it with carrier field guides.

Pros

  • Low published price per user
  • Budget quoter works back from a monthly amount
  • Several classes and face amounts in one run
  • Free full version through a qualified BGA

Cons

  • No applications without a qualified BGA
  • No prescription lookup or build charts
  • No refunds, and exports cost extra
  • Qualifying CRMs aren't named

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan LifeBrain quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where LifeBrain has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
