Bresser's X-Dates review for insurance agents: data, pricing and permitted use

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

Bresser's sells homeowner prospect data to P&C agents through Property Connect, a map search tool run by its data partner Haines. You pick a state, filter by renewal month and home details, then export the records.

The renewal month is sold as an x-date (the date a policy is due to renew), but neither company explains how it's built. Plans start at $119 a month for one state, or you can get a fixed list by email each month.

Our take

Bresser's suits a personal lines agent who wants to work one state by map and mail or call homeowners before renewal. Property Connect adds home details such as flood zone, year built and mortgage lender to each record.

The weak spot is the date itself. Bresser's calls it an x-date or renewal month with no word on whether it comes from a filed policy or a home purchase. Test a small batch first.

Read the Haines terms before you email anyone on the list. Mail and phone use is allowed, but email needs written consent from Haines.

Pros

  • Draw a territory on a map or import one you already use
  • Searching is unlimited, so you only pay for exports
  • Flood zone, new mover and absentee owner filters
  • Posted prices for every plan
  • A monthly emailed list if you don't want to search

Cons

  • No published method behind the renewal date
  • Each published plan covers one state and one user
  • Emailing the list needs written consent from Haines
  • You do your own Do Not Call scrub
  • The agreement renews plans for a year unless you cancel in writing
  • No built-in CRM connection

Treat the date as a guide. Neither company says whether the renewal month comes from a filed policy or from a home purchase date. Ask for the method before you plan a mailing around it.

How we researched this review. We based this review on the pricing, terms and product pages published by Bresser's X-Dates, reviewed in October 2026, together with our team's experience working with insurance agents and agency owners since 2008.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Bresser's X-Dates quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Bresser's X-Dates has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
