Our take

Agenzee is one of the few licensing tools a solo producer can buy alone, at a published monthly price. The same software scales up to agencies, carriers and MGAs. It files license applications and renewals, and carriers and MGAs can file appointments and terminations as well.

Agenzee Assist adds an account manager who does the licensing work inside the software. The limit to check first is state coverage, since renewal and appointment filing don't reach every state.

Pros

  • Solo producers can buy it alone at a published price
  • Files new licenses and renewals, one at a time or in bulk
  • Carriers and MGAs file appointments and terminations
  • A published state map shows what works where
  • Tracks errors and omissions (E&O) insurance, FINRA securities registrations and Marketplace registration on Business
  • Agenzee Assist does the filing for you

Cons

  • Renewal filing doesn't cover Florida, Maine, Michigan or North Carolina
  • Appointment filing is missing in nine states
  • Agencies and brokers can only send appointment requests to the carrier
  • Business and Assist prices are quoted
  • No SOC 2 report is published

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Agenzee quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Agenzee has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
