Our take

Xchange fits carriers, large agencies and broker-dealers that manage insurance licenses and securities registrations in one place. It goes well past tracking, with business rules that start appointments, a clear-to-sell check and same-day notice when NIPR records change.

Xchange Accelerate trades custom setup for ready-made workflows so you go live sooner.

Pros

  • The clear-to-sell check can create a missing appointment first
  • Same-day notice of NIPR changes, with a review queue
  • Insurance licenses and FINRA registrations in one system
  • Adjuster licensing with designated home state rules
  • Public API and webhook documentation
  • Managed Services can run the filings for you

Cons

  • No published prices
  • Contract terms aren't public
  • Doesn't publish which filings it handles in each state

NIPR and state filing

CE Central, its CE tracker, matches each producer's licenses to state CE rules and imports finished courses from outside providers. It emails reminders about CE deadlines, renewal dates and courses still pending.

State Requirements gives current summaries of each state's licensing, appointment and termination rules. For registered reps, it stores registration records so they can't be altered, with approvals and a sign-off trail.

Appointments and terminations

How appointments are filed
Your business rules start appointment transactions on their own
Terminations
Automated on Accelerate, and the transaction API brings them in for filing. Events you define can start a Form U5, the FINRA form that ends a registered rep's registration
Just-in-time appointing
On Accelerate. CLEARXchange can also create a missing appointment before it returns clear to sell

Contracting and onboarding

Carrier paperwork
Contract appendices are built and prefilled from each producer's lines and products, using data from NIPR, background check vendors and your CRM. Packets route through approvals, and exceptions go to a review queue
Ready-to-sell check
CLEARXchange checks contracts, licenses, training, appointments and registrations and returns Clear to Sell, or Clear to Process Claim to tell a claims system an adjuster may take the claim
E-signature
Signed contract documents can be sent to your other systems by webhook
Who pays for contracting
The firm that licenses Xchange

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan RegEd Xchange Producer Management quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where RegEd Xchange Producer Management has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
