- Organization model
- Personal producers, with an optional Agency Builder path
You apply online, interview with an Experior leader and contract through Experior. If a prior IMO or managing general agency (MGA) has covenants, Experior's agreement requires a resignation before you submit an insurer contract. You can be paid directly by the carrier, or as a License Only Agent (LOA), whose commissions Experior collects and passes on.
Recruiting is optional. Agency Builders receive overrides on all product lines, and promotions are earned through personal production and team production.
How you get paid
- Pay path
- Varies by carrier. Paid direct by the carrier, or as an LOA through Experior
- Level bumps
- Six levels from FA to ED+, earned through personal and team production
- Overrides
- Agency Builders earn overrides on all product lines
- Pay timing
- Twice a week
Experior's agreement says it grants permission to accept contracts with carriers it is appointed by, and the carrier has final approval. Brand-new agents start at 70%, and prior experience may start you higher. Levels climb in six steps, from FA at the start to ED+ at the top, which has three tiers.
Levels are a share of a carrier factor. On the Nationwide indexed universal life (IUL) Accumulator II schedule effective June 2, 2026, the factor is 77%, so the 70% starting level pays 53.90% and the top tier pays 100.10%.
Experior says it processes commissions with twice-weekly payments.
Leaving
- Release policy
- Immediate release on request when you owe no chargebacks or debt
- Renewal vesting
- LOA agents keep their commissions and renewals
- Book and client data
- LOA agents own the book and take it with them
- Debt when you leave
- Experior may place a lien on your book until debt is paid
Experior says a License Only Agent (LOA) who leaves takes the book, commissions and renewals included. A lien can still apply until any debt is paid.
Advances, chargebacks and debt
- Debt policy
- Experior may withhold 1% of income, with a $500 minimum, and use outside collections
The LOA designation routes commissions and limits chargeback roll-up between carriers. The agreement treats chargebacks as debts repayable on demand. After 30 days from written notice, Experior may apply 6% annual interest and use third party collections with costs charged to the associate.
Experior may withhold 1% of your income over the last 24 months (at least $500), and may place a lien on the book until debt is satisfied.

Lines include life, final expense, ACA and health, annuities, critical illness, disability and long-term care, with investment products for agents holding a Series 65. The partners page names North American, Americo, Nationwide, National Life, F&G, Corebridge and Augustar.
Leads, tools and who pays
Monthly back office fees
| Level | Monthly fee |
|---|---|
| Unlicensed associate | $19 |
| FA | $35 |
| SFA | $45 |
| SM | $65 |
| ED | $79 |
FA, SFA, SM and ED are Experior's level names, from the entry level up. ED+ sits above ED.
An April 4, 2023 Experior article says agents should not be paying more than $30 for fresh exclusive leads that are never resold in a 50 mile radius. Its proprietary CRM comes with the Experior Back Office.
Those monthly fees come from Experior's public agreement, and applicable taxes are added.
Training and production
- Mentoring
- Included for licensed agents
Every licensed agent gets HPN University training, with workshops, webinars and mentorship. There is no cost to register.
Experior says promotions are earned through personal production and team production, and its back office tracks progress.
Contracting, certifications and E&O
- E&O required
- Yes, from Experior's approved provider, at your cost
- Licensing costs
- Licensing and added state licensing costs are yours
After the interview you submit licenses and documents, pick carrier partners and write through Experior quoting tools and carrier portals. The agreement assigns licensing and additional state licensing costs to the associate. It requires E&O from an approved provider and the associate pays that cost.
The group E&O program offers two coverage options, with one-time premiums of $325 or $563 for new agents and $410 or $725 for experienced agents.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Experior Financial Group quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Experior Financial Group has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
