Equis is a hybrid model for personal producers and agency builders. You can contact Equis directly or through a partner agency office listed on Contact, then contract through the Equis Agent Dashboard Carriers tab with home-office specialists at 828.299.9600. The upline chain runs agent to agency or manager to Equis home office to Integrity and carriers.
New and unlicensed agents can obtain a license and start part-time.
How you get paid
The Contact FAQ markets agents up to 120% and managers up to 140%. A January 2024 System PDF lists a 70% starting level.
Promotion and Bonus Guidelines took effect September 1, 2026.
Override tables and whether carriers pay you directly or through Equis are shared during contracting. Equis markets a Producer Bonus up to $5,000 per month, a Builder Bonus up to $50,000 per month, Gold Standard $2,500, Elite Producer tiers and incentive trips.
Leaving
- Release policy
- Equis said in a September 2023 post that it does not grant releases
- Debt when you leave
- Buy-per-lead (BPL) buyers stay responsible for leads for up to 30 days after canceling
Agents wait the carrier-required period, which Equis describes as generally 6 months, or ask the carrier to cancel pending contracts. Equis lists no release fee, since it said it grants no releases.
Equis describes carrier lack-of-production termination after 6 months, re-contract waits of 12 months after that termination for many carriers, and a 30 to 60-day wait between contract level changes. Contact FAQ markets agents as independent contractors owning their own business, while post-exit book ownership and CRM export are not published.
Advances, chargebacks and debt
- Debt policy
- Tracked on the Agent Dashboard. The terms are in the producer agreement
For BPL leads, unpaid lead cost rolls up to the upline and that upline is financially responsible for leads that roll up.
Lines and carriers
Lines include life, final expense, mortgage protection, living benefits, indexed universal life (IUL), annuity and Medicare through PlanEnroll. A 2023 onboarding post recommends Americo, Mutual of Omaha, CVS/Aetna or American Amicable for final expense, and Ethos as starter contracts.
A reporting post updated January 15, 2025 says home-office matching covers over 40 carriers. Equis suggests that a new agent start with 5 carriers at most.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Equis Financial quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Equis Financial has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
