CommissionIQ review: pricing, statement matching and producer pay

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

CommissionIQ checks carrier payments against expected commission and flags what's missing or short. It takes CSV and Excel statements, or pulls them from carrier and FMO portals with your logins.

It is built for agencies and uplines that pay through sub-agencies and FMOs. Solo Agent is $79 a month, and agency plans run from $199 to $349.

Our take

CommissionIQ fits an agency or upline that pays producers through sub-agencies and needs overrides worked out. Overrides start on Agency Pro at $349 a month, so an agency that pays overrides needs at least that plan. Solo Agent at $79 covers one agent with no splits.

Check the producer portal, ACH payouts and chargeback handling during the trial. Only its marketing describes them.

Pros

  • Published prices and a 14-day trial with no card
  • Pulls statements from carrier and FMO portals
  • Built for sub-agency and FMO hierarchies
  • Month to month, with no setup fee
  • Data export from the dashboard

Cons

  • Overrides need Agency Pro at $349 a month
  • Big price jump from Agency Pro to Enterprise
  • Revo CRM is the only CRM partner named
  • Portal, ACH and chargeback features are thinly documented
  • Data may be deleted 30 days after you cancel

Good to know before you buy

  • A sub-agency is an agency below yours whose agents you pay. An FMO link brings in override pay from your upline.
  • Field mapping for each carrier starts on Agency Starter, not Solo Agent.
  • API access and white-label branding start on Enterprise Pro.

Enterprise allows 3 hierarchy levels. Enterprise Pro and Enterprise Elite add unlimited levels, API access, white-label branding and custom carrier connections.

Getting started

  1. Start the trial

Sign up for 14 days with no card.

  2. Add agents and sub-agencies

Build your structure from FMO to agency to sub-agency to agent.

  3. Map each carrier once

Upload a statement and match its columns, or give your carrier portal logins so CommissionIQ pulls them.

  4. Review flagged payments

Work the missing and short payments it finds.

CommissionIQ says self-service setup takes under ten minutes. Support runs by email, ticket, phone and WhatsApp, and Enterprise adds one-on-one onboarding.

Matching and missing payments

CommissionIQ matches carrier payments to expected commission at the policy level. It flags missing and short payments so you can dispute them with the carrier.

Results can be viewed by policy, agent and carrier. Ask which fields it matches on during the trial.

Splits, overrides and hierarchy

Splits and overrides

Producer splits run automatically from Agency Starter. Overrides (pay to an upline on a downline's sale) start on Agency Pro.

Hierarchy

Your structure runs FMO, agency, sub-agency and agent. Enterprise allows 3 levels, and Enterprise Pro and up allow any number.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan CommissionIQ quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where CommissionIQ has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
