boberdoo review for insurance agencies: pricing, lead routing and integrations

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

boberdoo is lead distribution software. Its Agency Campaign setup lets busy insurance agencies take in leads from many vendors, check them for repeats and quality, then route them to producers by rotation, weight, state or hours.

Agencies can also charge producers for leads from prepaid balances. The monthly fee depends on daily lead volume, with unlimited users.

Our take

boberdoo is a lead router for an agency or upline that buys leads in volume from several vendors and hands them to many producers. Every lead is checked, matched by rules and logged, then sent to your CRM or dialer.

The demo runs on your own leads, and the smallest volume tier is the usual first plan.

It's not a CRM or dialer, and the platform fee is high for a small agency.

Pros

  • Routing in rotation, by weight, by state or by schedule, with a log of each match
  • Duplicate checks at intake and per buyer, plus LeadQC scoring for suspicious leads
  • Consent language, TrustedForm certificates and Jornaya tokens travel with each lead
  • Cost, contact and close reports by agent, state, line and vendor
  • Producers can be charged for leads from prepaid balances
  • Unlimited users, and month-to-month terms

Cons

  • Fees start above $1,000 a month and rise with volume
  • Not a CRM or dialer, so follow-up happens elsewhere
  • No agency management system connections
  • Setup and monthly fees aren't refunded

boberdoo runs it on a sample of your own lead flow.

  2. Add your sources

The Source Wizard sets up each website, lead vendor or ping/post vendor.

  3. Add producers and rules

Set who gets which leads, and whether producers prepay for them.

  4. Connect delivery

Send leads to your CRM, dialer or email by API or webhook.

  5. Train the team

Weekly free classes, help articles and videos.

A dedicated onboarding specialist sets up the account, usually within days. Support is by ticket.

Lead intake

Each source is set up as a website, a direct vendor or a ping/post vendor. Ping/post means a vendor first sends a preview, you bid or accept, then the full lead follows.

Ways leads come in
Vendor posts and API, ping/post, web forms, inbound calls, Zapier or by hand
Lead vendors
EverQuote auto leads connect directly. Other vendors post by API
Duplicates
Checked at intake by lead type, fields and look-back period, and again per producer
Bad leads
LeadQC scores each lead 0 to 100 on more than 30 checks and holds suspect leads. Producers can ask for returns with a reason
Consent
Consent wording, TrustedForm certificates and Jornaya LeadID tokens travel with the lead

Assignment rules

Round robin

Leads rotate among eligible producers.

Weighted

Some producers get a bigger share than others.

By state

Filters send each lead only to producers who take its state.

By hours

Producers get leads only during the hours they set.

Priority and price

Pick by priority, best price or earnings per lead when you sell leads on.

If nobody qualifies

Follow-up and calling

boberdoo delivers leads, calls and lead alerts to producers. Calling and texting consumers happen in your CRM or dialer, which its terms leave to you.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan boberdoo quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where boberdoo has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
