WebCE review: CE courses, state approvals and costs for agents
WebCE sells online insurance CE, exam prep and required-topic training, with a separate catalog for each state. You can buy a ready-made renewal package, single courses or build your own package.
It covers life and health, P&C, limited lines and adjuster licenses. Packages are priced one at a time, and agencies can get a team account by quote.

Our take
WebCE suits an agent who wants a ready-made renewal package for one state with the credits sent in for them. The four packages we checked each cost the same, and the final exams have no monitor.
Watch the reporting fee. California and Texas add one per credit hour at checkout, so the package price isn't the full cost there.
Agencies can assign courses and track completions in a team account, priced by quote.
Pros
- Same price for each state renewal package we checked
- WebCE reports your credits, same day in two states
- Unlimited final exam retakes with no monitor
- CE, exam prep and required topics from one provider
- Team accounts with assignments, reminders and certificates
Cons
- California and Texas add a reporting fee per credit hour
- CE packages expire 12 months after purchase

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan WebCE quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where WebCE has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
