Plansight review for benefits brokers: pricing, carrier feeds and enrollment
Plansight helps benefits brokers run renewals. It sends RFPs to carriers, pulls plan designs and rates out of the quotes that come back and builds a branded proposal for the employer.
It fits brokers and general agencies with many groups. PlansightAI is quoted, and the SmartSheetingAI tool starts at $15 a user a month billed yearly.

Our take
Plansight is for a broker team that spends renewal season retyping carrier proposals into spreadsheets. It reads the PDFs and Excel files, links each number to its source and lets you model contributions before you present.
It stops at the sale. Enrollment happens elsewhere, usually Employee Navigator, which Plansight feeds the sold plans.
Pros
- Pulls plan designs and rates out of carrier documents
- Every pulled value links to its source for checking
- Shows when each carrier opens or answers an RFP
- Sends sold plans to Employee Navigator and BenefitPoint
Cons
- PlansightAI pricing is quoted
- No enrollment, ACA or COBRA tools
- SmartSheetingAI adds a usage charge per line of coverage
- Works only in Google Chrome

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Plansight quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Plansight has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
