Our take
COMPULIFE suits an independent life agent who wants a quoter that belongs to them, not to an upline. Mobile Quoter covers term and guaranteed UL in a browser, and the Windows PC version adds simplified issue, final expense, carrier forms and a health screen.
Prices are published and billed once a year, so you know the cost before you call. First-time buyers get two months plus the rest of the signup month free.
The main limit is that it stops at the quote. There's no eApp or e-signature, so you still fill out each carrier's application.
Pros
- Published yearly prices, starting at $110
- No upline or carrier contract needed to buy it
- The Windows version quotes without an internet connection
- Rates update monthly, with mid-month updates too
- Health Analyzer checks build, tobacco and health history against carrier rules
- A website quoter and an API for agencies that want their own
Cons
- No eApp or e-signature, so applications are on the carrier's forms
- No named CRM connection
- The carrier list doesn't show which products sell in which states
- Mobile Quoter leaves out simplified issue and final expense
- Reviewers find the screens dated

- 100+
- Carrier list
- compulife.com life company list
- States
- You enter the client's state with each quote
- State list
- No list of which products sell in which states
Compulife says it compares products from over 100 life insurance companies, as of October 2026. Its list names companies, not the products or states each one is quoted for.
Rates and underwriting
- Where rates come from
- Rate data the carriers supply
- How often they update
- Monthly, plus mid-month updates
- Fixing a wrong rate
- Tell Compulife. It says agents often spot product changes first
Underwriting tools
- Preferred Health Analyzer in the PC software
- Health Analyzer for Website Quoter
- Table Ratings for rated cases on Website Quoter
Health data it checks
- Tobacco use
- Height and weight
- Blood pressure and cholesterol

Quotes and proposals
| Result | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Quote only | A premium for the product, rate class and face amount you entered |
| Rate comparison | Carriers side by side for the same client |
| Estimate | A starting point. The carrier's underwriting sets the final premium |
- What you can send the client
- A PDF or an email of the quote
Compulife's website terms disclaim any warranty on results, so check the rate class and premium with the carrier.
Applications and enrollment
- Where the application goes
- You pull the carrier's own forms from the Forms Library
- Carriers with eApp
- No eApp from the quote
- What carries over
- Nothing in the standard products. The API returns quote data your developer can pass on
- E-signature
- Not built in
Each carrier's forms need an online agreement with that carrier, and Compulife says not to use them without an appointment.

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan COMPULIFE quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where COMPULIFE has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
