Our take

PlanCompare suits a Medicare agent who wants drug and doctor lookup, plan comparison, enrollment and call recording under one login. It also scales up to call centers and FMOs on ONE.

A single agent can buy it directly, which keeps the account yours if you change uplines. The price is published, but the contract runs a full year with no refunds.

Check the carrier map first. Some carriers are view-only, so you can show their plans but not enroll in them.

Pros

  • Published price for a single agent, $100 a month
  • Drug, pharmacy and doctor lookup with a Medicare.gov drug list import
  • Call recording on every plan
  • Personal shopping links that credit enrollments to you
  • Two-way AgencyBloc sync that adds the policy after enrollment
  • Plan data comes straight from the carriers

Cons

  • One-year minimum with no refunds
  • Some carriers are view-only, with no enrollment
  • Client data access ends when the subscription ends
  • CRM connections cost extra, billed by the CRM company
  • No mobile app

Good to know before you buy

  • The AgencyBloc and Medicare PRO CRM connections need their own licenses, billed by those companies.
  • RetireFlo comes with Edge for Agents at no extra charge, using a discount code.
  • Active Analytics is included for AEP 2027 on Edge for Agents. On sponsor plans it follows what your upline buys.
  • Fees are paid up front, and canceling early still leaves the rest of the year due.

A sponsor's account isn't yours. If your FMO or agency pays for PlanCompare, leaving it can end your access to clients, SOAs and shopping links. A direct Edge for Agents subscription avoids that.

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan ConnectureDRX PlanCompare quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where ConnectureDRX PlanCompare has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
