Benefeature review for insurance agents: data, pricing and permitted use
Benefeature turns Form 5500 filings and carrier case data into employer, broker and carrier profiles for benefits brokers and carriers. It splits each group's premium by product and estimates which broker office wrote the plan.
Plan year dates come from filings. Pro costs $1,925 a seat each year, and Pro Plus adds HubSpot sync.

Our take
Benefeature suits a broker or carrier that sizes up groups by premium and wants to see which competitor writes them. Modeled premium by product is its standout.
Dates are filed plan years, not predicted renewals. Employer contacts and HubSpot need Pro Plus at $10,000 a year, against $1,925 a seat for Pro.
Contracts renew for 12 months unless you give notice 60 days ahead.
Pros
- Premium split by benefit product

- Smart Lists that update as records match
- Broker pay broken out by fee type

- Yearly contracts with 60 days' notice to cancel
- Few phone numbers

Corrections
Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan Benefeature quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where Benefeature has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
