GetInsured review for insurance agents: pricing, carriers and features

By the IAT editorial team | Updated October 9, 2026

GetInsured runs the technology behind several state health exchanges and an approved EDE platform. Agents use its portal to compare ACA health and dental plans, check subsidies and enroll clients.

It's free for brokers. You get in through your state exchange's agent portal or GetInsured's EDE platform once you're licensed and certified.

Our take

GetInsured fits an ACA agent who sells in one of the states whose exchange it runs, or who wants EDE enrollment without bouncing clients to HealthCare.gov. Quoting, subsidy checks and enrollment happen in one place.

It costs brokers nothing, since states and carriers pay for the platform.

It covers ACA health and dental only, with no Medicare, life or group quoting.

Pros

  • Free for brokers
  • Full ACA enrollment with no HealthCare.gov redirect for covered cases
  • Doctor search, drug lookup and cost estimates built in
  • A mobile app with your book, notices and contacts
  • Book of business download

Cons

  • ACA health and dental only
  • No CRM or agency system connection
  • State exchange portals cover nine states
  • No consumer quoter you can put on your own site

Corrections

Vendors change their pricing all the time and they don't email us when they do. So if you see a price on here that's gone up, a plan GetInsured quit selling or a contract term that reads different now, let us know and send the link to the page where GetInsured has it. Somebody here pulls up that page and checks it before we change anything on ours.
